E.J. Noble Hospital in New York, SEIU Reach New Contract

E.J. Noble Hospital in Gouverneur, N.Y., and its 133 service employees represented by the Service Employees International Union have tentatively agreed on a new three-year contract, according to a Watertown Daily Times report.

The agreement would include no salary increase in the first year, but there would be a 1 percent increase in the second year and 1.5 percent increase in the third year, the report said. The salary increases will help cover the higher costs for health insurance. A family health coverage plan will increase from $100 per biweekly pay period to $130 per pay period in the third year.

The original offer proposed no salary increases for all three years.
