USPI promotes 2 leaders: 4 points

Addison, Texas-based United Surgical Partners International, a subsidiary of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare focused on ambulatory surgery services, appointed Mark Garvin COO and Andy Johnston chief development officer.

Here are four points:

1. Mr. Garvin most recently served as COO of USPI's West division.

2. He joined USPI in 2001 and has served in several leadership roles since, including senior vice president of operations.

3. Mr. Johnston was previously COO of USPI's East division.

4. He has also worked at the organization since 2001, and formerly served as vice president of development and senior vice president of operations.
