UConn Health has named Anne Diamond, JD, as CEO of John Dempsey Hospital. Ms. Diamond has been serving as interim CEO since August 2013.
Ms. Diamond joined UConn Health in 2010 as associate vice president of clinical operations and became COO in 2011. She has been a key part in improving the hospital's performance in quality, service and patient satisfaction scores. Financial and operational performance also saw significant improvements. UConn Health recorded over $50 million in cost savings over the past two years and hospital admissions and operating room cases are higher than they've been in the past four years.
Prior to joining UConn Health, Ms. Diamond worked for Salem (Ore.) Health as vice president for service lines and operations.
