Tufts Medical Center in Boston named Kara Greer vice president of human resources, effective Oct. 7.
She will also serve as VP of human resources at Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center.
Ms. Greer comes to Tufts from Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she was vice president and manager of talent, strategy and planning. She was previously vice president of human resources, talent management and learning for Ochsner Health System in New Orleans.
In her new role, Ms. Greer will oversee human resource for the hospital's 5,900 staff members, including workforce planning, talent acquisition and performance management.
