TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Brentwood, Tenn., tapped Cory Mead to serve as COO, effective Oct. 16.
Here are four notes:
1. Mr. Mead most recently served as associate COO and co-ethics and compliance officer at Reston (Va.) Hospital Center, part of Richmond-based HCA Capital Division.
2. He was previously director of operations and administrative fellow at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo., part of Kansas City-based HCA Midwest Health.
3. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
4. Mr. Mead earned his master of health administration degree from the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
