Orangeburg, S.C.-based The Regional Medical Center selected Carol Koenecke-Grant to serve as vice president of strategy and marketing, according to The Times and Democrat.
Here are four notes:
1. Ms. Koenecke-Grant was previously vice president of strategic services at Valley Health System in Winchester, Va.
2. She also has prior experience serving as chief strategy officer at Children's Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota in Minneapolis and senior vice president of strategic planning and marketing at Guthrie, a health system based in Sayre, Pa.
3. Ms. Koenecke-Grant is a board member for the Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development and a member of the American Medical Group Association.
4. She holds a master's degree in counseling from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla.
