Sutter Amador Hospital CEO to retire: 4 things to know

Jackson, Calif.-based Sutter Amador Hospital CEO Anne Platt plans to retire March 1.

Here are four things to know:

1. Ms. Platt has led the hospital for 14 years.

2. During her tenure, the hospital built the 48,000-square-foot Sutter Amador Outpatient Services Center and completed a 9,115-square-foot expansion of the emergency department.

3. Additionally, she recruited new physicians specializing in pediatrics, oncology and cardiology, among others, and she oversaw the development of telepsychiatry and telecardiology services.

4. Tom Dickson, who has led several Arizona-based hospitals, will succeed Ms. Platt. He will join the hospital Feb. 11.
