Sullivan, Cotter and Associates, an independent healthcare consulting firm, tapped Mark Rumans, MD, to serve as its first CMO.

1. Dr. Rumans most recently served as CMO of Greenville, N.C.-based Vidant Health.
2. He has also served as physician-in-chief for Billings (Mont.) Clinic.
3. In his new role, he will help clients develop value-based transition plans as well as compensation and workforce performance strategies.
