St. Louis-based SSM Health selected Steven M. Scott to serve as permanent president for SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.
Four notes:
1. Mr. Scott has served in the role on an interim basis since January.
2. Prior to that, he was interim COO at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
3. He also has experience working at Portland-based Oregon Health and Science University and the University of Illinois at Chicago.
4. Mr. Scott holds a master of public health degree in health administration from the University of Pittsburgh.
