Saratoga Hospital in Sarasota Springs, N.Y., named Joseph Bell, MD, vice president and medical director of perioperative services, a newly created role.
Dr. Bell has served as chair of Saratoga Hospital Medical Group, the hospital's multispecialty physician practice, since its inception. He also serves on the hospital's breast care collaborative. Most of his 25-plus years of healthcare experience has been at Saratoga Hospital.
He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery.
