Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital in in Newport, Ore., has tapped Sam Jones to serve as vice president of patient care, according to a Newport News Times report.
Mr. Jones previously served as chief nursing officer at Carlsbad (N.M.) Medical Center. He has previously served in leadership roles at several hospitals in New Mexico, Alaska, Oregon and Maryland.
Mr. Jones also served in military intelligence with the U.S. Army for five years.
