Premier Health COO Michael Maiberger to retire in August: 4 notes

Michael Maiberger, executive vice president and COO of Dayton, Ohio-based Premier Health, is retiring, effective Aug. 16, according to the Dayton Daily News.

Four notes:

1. Mr. Maiberger has worked at the health system for 27 years, serving in several roles, including chief value officer and chief strategy officer.

2. He was president and CEO of Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio, and president of Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

3. Mr. Maiberger is past board chair of the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce.

4. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a master's degree in healthcare administration from Cincinnati-based Xavier University.
