Albany, Ga.-based Phoebe Putney Health System named Jack Owens, MD, MPH, chief quality officer.
Here are three notes:
1. Dr. Owens is currently chief medical quality officer for Phoebe Physician Group and he will continue in the role.
2. He most recently served as medical director of neonatology for Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany.
3. In addition to completing a neonatal-perinatal fellowship at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, Dr. Owens earned a master of public health degree in epidemiology from Tuscaloosa-based University of Alabama.
