Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville, Ill., selected Scott Boston, MD, to serve as CMO, effective April 1, according to a My Journal Courier report.
Three things to know:
1. Dr. Boston has provided care at Passavant Area since 2004.
2. He is an emergency medicine physician and will continue working in the emergency room while fulfilling his CMO duties.
3. He succeeds Marshall Hale, MD, who is retiring March 31.
