Northern Counties Health Care, a federally qualified health center network in St. Johnsbury, Vt., selected Michael Costa to serve as CEO, effective March 25.
Three points:
1. Mr. Costa most recently served as deputy commissioner of the Department of Vermont Heath Access, which operates Vermont's public health insurance system.
2. He holds a master of healthcare delivery science from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H.
3. Northern Counties Health Care includes five community health centers, three dental practices, and a home care and hospice division.
