Flagstaff-based Northern Arizona Healthcare President and CEO Rob Thames resigned March 26, according to an Arizona Daily Sun report.

Here are three takeaways:

1. The organization did not give a reason for Mr. Thames' sudden departure.

2. Mr. Thames assumed the top position at Northern Arizona Healthcare in April 2015.

3. Florence Spyrow, the health system's executive vice president and chief administrative officer at Flagstaff Medical Center, took over as interim president and CEO.
