Utica, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Health System appointed Robert Scholefield executive vice president of facilities and real estate, according to a Utica Observer-Dispatch report.
Three points:
1. Mr. Scholefield most recently served as executive vice president and COO of the health system.
2. In his new role as EVP of facilities and real estate, Mr. Scholefield will oversee construction of a new hospital in downtown Utica.
3. The health system has begun a national search for a new COO.
