MetroHealth hires first chief ethics and compliance officer

Cleveland-based MetroHealth has hired Cheryl Forino Wahl to be its first ever chief ethics and compliance officer and senior vice president.

Ms. Wahl previously served as chief compliance officer of Twinsburg, Ohio-based EnvisionRx and Cleveland-based University Hospitals.

"Cheryl has more than 20 years' experience in healthcare and is recognized as a Top Ethics and Compliance Officer by Ethisphere Institute," said Akram Boutros, MD, FACHE, president and CEO of MetroHealth. "MetroHealth's Board of Trustees and management are committed to the highest standards of ethical business conduct, and we welcome Cheryl to help lead our efforts."
