Lesly Marban will take the reins of Medline's overall brand strategy as chief marketing officer, according to an emailed press release.
Ms. Marban has been with Medline — a global manufacturer and distributor of medical supplies and clinical solutions — since 2011. Most recently, Ms. Marban served as senior vice president of marketing for the U.S. post-acute care market where she developed customer engagement strategies and worked closely with Medline's more than 250 post-acute sales reps. Medline recorded an 11 percent compound annual growth rate during Ms. Marban's tenure in that role.
"The [chief marketing officer] role in healthcare is more challenging than ever before," Andy Mills, president of Medline, said in the release. "Lesly's more than 17 years in healthcare combined with her tireless commitment to our company, her team and our customers made her an obvious choice."
Ms. Marban earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in business administration from DePaul University in Chicago.
