Macomb, Ill.-based McDonough District Hospital named Peter Rao vice president for ambulatory services, effective Aug. 1.
Three points:
1. Mr. Rao previously served as CEO of the Healthcare Leadership and Innovation Center in Osage Beach, Mo.
2. Before that, he served as vice president of quality evaluation and program development at the Missouri Hospital Association.
3. He is a member of the Medical Group Management Association, American College of Medical Practice Executives and Health Care Compliance Association.
