Jennifer Arnett has been named chief development officer of Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic, effective Dec. 1.

Ms. Arnett currently serves as UC San Francisco's top development officer in the role of vice chancellor of university development and alumni relations. She has been with the organization for 12 years.

In 2017, in her previous role as associate vice chancellor, she helped design, launch and execute a multiyear $5 billion fundraising campaign, one of the largest fundraising goals ever set by a U.S. university. In three years, the campaign drew in approximately 160,000 donors to make more than 280,000 gifts for a total of $6.2 billion to support UCSF's mission to advance human health worldwide.

Ms. Arnett's last day at UCSF will be Oct. 22, according to a news release.

Before joining UCSF, Ms. Arnett held fundraising roles at Atlanta-based Emory University and Atlanta (Ga.) University.
