Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, N.Y., named Christine Amoroso, RN, vice president for quality, a newly created position.
Three points:
1. Ms. Amoroso previously served as director of quality management for Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, N.Y.
2. She also has experience as assistant director of corporate quality for New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health.
3. She holds a master's degree in healthcare policy and management from Stony Brook (N.Y.) University.
