Los Alamos (N.M.) Medical Center tapped John Whiteside to serve as permanent CEO, effective immediately, according to a Los Alamos Daily Post report.

1. Mr. Whiteside has been serving as interim CEO of the Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health facility since August 2016.
2. Prior to that, he was COO of Ville Platte, La.-based Mercy Regional Medical Center and its Eunice, La.-based campus called Acadian Medical Center.
