Laura Jelle named president of St. Clare Hospital: 4 things to know

St. Louis-based SSM Health has named Laura Jelle president of its St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wis., according to Channel 3000.

Here are four things to know about Ms. Jelle.

1. Ms. Jelle replaced Sandy Anderson, who left her position this month.

2. In her role, Ms. Jelle will lead hospital operations and work with with Damond Boatwright, regional president and CEO of hospital operations for SSM Health Care of Wisconsin, to manage hospital services in the Baraboo area, according to the report.

3. Ms. Jelle has worked at the hospital for 20 years in a number of roles. Most recently, she was executive vice president and COO.

4.  Now, as president, Ms. Jelle said she wants "to continue to provide an outstanding customer experience and to deliver services that will help keep care close to home for the communities we serve," according to the report.
