Louisville-based KentuckyOne Health President and CEO Ruth Brinkley is leaving her post, effective July 14. She has led the health system since 2012.

Ms. Brinkley plans to "continue [her] professional life through mentoring and developing leaders for success in executive management and board of director roles, and other leadership positions," a health system statement notes.

The board thanked Ms. Brinkley for her dedication to her role, noting that she "developed the statewide structure for a complex organization, and established the vision and purpose for our path forward," according to the statement.

Chuck Neumann, currently the interim president of University of Louisville Hospital, will serve as interim president and CEO of KentuckyOne Health. He will work with Ms. Brinkley through mid-September, who will act as an advisor.

Mr. Neumann has more than 40 years of healthcare industry experience, including serving in management roles. He previously announced that he would leave his current role at interim leader of University of Louisville Hospital on July 1, when University Medical Center in Louisville will resume management of the hospital and its affiliated cancer center.
