Belle Glade, Fla.-based Lakeside Medical Center selected Janet D. Moreland to serve as hospital administrator, effective in June.
Four points:
1. Ms. Moreland previously served as Lakeside Medical Center's director of nursing and director of quality and patient safety.
2. She joined Lakeside Medical Center in 2013 and before that worked at the Florida Department of Health Palm Beach County for more than 25 years.
3. Ms. Moreland received a master of science degree in nursing education and nursing at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton.
4. Lakeside Medical Center is a 70-bed, acute care facility.
