Hackensack Meridian Health names 2 hospital chiefs: 6 things to know

Edison, N.J.-based Hackensack Meridian Health selected new chief hospital executives for Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, N.J., and Ocean Medical Center in Brick, N.J., according to an Asbury Park Press report.

Six things to know:

1. Vito Buccellato will serve as chief hospital executive of Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

2. Mr. Buccellato was previously COO of Ocean Medical Center.

3. Equipped with 35 years of healthcare experience, Mr. Buccellato formerly served as COO of Coney Island Hospital in New York City.

4. Jason Kreitner will become chief hospital executive of Ocean Medical Center.

5. Mr. Kreitner most recently served as vice president and senior operations officer at Hackensack University Medical Center.

6. Mr. Kreitner joined Hackensack (N.J.) University Medical Center more than 20 years ago as a radiation therapist.
