Good Samaritan Medical Center appoints new president: 4 takeaways

Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton, Mass., selected Harrison Bane to serve as president, effective Jan. 4, 2018, according to a report by The Enterprise.

Here are four takeaways:

1. Most recently, Mr. Bane worked in a senior leadership role at BaneCare, an operator of skilled nursing home and rehabilitation centers in Massachusetts.

2. He previously served as vice president of operations at Good Samaritan.

3. Prior to that, he was an associate administrator at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston.

4. In January, Mr. Bane will take over from Doug Luckett, who is interim president of Good Samaritan.
