Wallingford, Conn.-based Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, a long-term acute care facility, tapped Sonja LaBarbera as its first female president and CEO, according to a New Haven Register report.
Here are three things to know:
1. Ms. LaBarbera most recently served as the hospital's COO.
2. She joined Gaylord 14 years ago as director of inpatient therapy.
3. She succeeds George Kyriacou, who retired.
