The Federation of American Hospitals selected Claudia Salzberg, PhD, to serve as vice president of quality.

1. Dr. Salzberg most recently worked as a research scientist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
2. She also has prior experience working in organizations such as Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Boston-based Brigham and Women's Hospital as well as IBM.
3. She earned her earned her PhD in health policy and management from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
