Lewisburg, Pa.-based Evangelical Community Hospital named Teresa K. Swenson associate vice president of surgery.

1. Ms. Swenson comes to Evangelical from Geisinger Health System in Danville, Pa., where she was director of research and clinical operations for the orthopedic surgery department.
2. She began her career in healthcare as a radiologic technologist.
3. She is currently a certification specialist for the International Geriatric Fracture Society.
4. Ms. Swenson completed the executive MBA program at University of Scranton-Geisinger in Scranton, Pa.
