Great Neck, N.Y.-based Northwell Health named Paul Wright, MD, senior vice president of quality for its neuroscience institute as well as associate medical director at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y.
Dr. Wright most recently served as chair of neurology at NSUH and New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Long Island Jewish Medical Center as well as vice president of neurology services for Northwell's central and eastern regions. He is a professor of neurology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and the Hofstra Northwell School of Graduate Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies, both located in Hempstead, N.Y.
An attending neurologist for the past 15 years, Dr. Wright serves as chair of NSUH's medical board. His research has been published in numerous journals, including the European Journal of Neuroscience and the Journal of the American Society of Echocardiography. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Heart Association.
