Dr. Carolyn Hayes named CNO at Rutgers Cancer Institute, RWJBarnabas Health

Carolyn Hayes, PhD, RN, has been named chief nursing officer of New Brunswick-based Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and of West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health's oncology services, according to ROI-NJ.

She was most recently president and executive director of the Greater Boston Nursing Collective. She previously served as associate chief of adult inpatient and integrative oncology nursing at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, both in Boston.

Dr. Haynes is also an associate professor in the nursing science division at Rutgers School of Nursing in New Brunswick.
