Dignity Health North State, which includes three California-based hospitals, named Todd Strumwasser, MD, senior vice president of operations, according to a Red Bluff Daily News report.
Four points:
1. In his new role, Dr. Strumwasser will oversee operations at Mercy Medical Center-Mount Shasta (Calif.), Mercy Medical Center-Redding (Calif.) and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, Calif.
2. He joined San Francisco-based Dignity Health in 2015 as senior vice president of operations of its four Bay area hospitals.
3. He previously worked at Swedish Health Services in Seattle, where he served in several leadership roles, including COO and CEO.
4. Dr. Strumwasser succeeds Mark Korth, who is leaving to serve as executive vice president and COO of Broomfield, Colo.-based SCL Health.
