Dignity Health Glendale (Calif.) Memorial Hospital named Jason Black, DNP, RN, vice president/chief nurse executive.

Here are four points:

1. Mr. Black most recently served as CNO at West Anaheim (Calif.) Medical Center.

2. Prior to that, he was senior director of clinical operations & performance improvement at San Diego-based Scripps Health.

3. He is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association as well as the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

4. He holds an MBA and a nursing leadership degree from Los Angeles-based University of Southern California.
