Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville, N.C., named Matthew Banks permanent CEO, according to a Statesville Record & Landmark report.

1. Mr. Banks served in the role on an interim basis since January 2017, when former CEO Chad French resigned abruptly.
2. His previous roles include serving as COO of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville N.C., as well as COO and interim CEO at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital in Anniston, Ala.
3. He is Davis Regional Medical Center's fifth CEO in four years.
4. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
