D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital promotes Rick Owens to administrator: 3 points

D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital in Brewton, Ala., named Rick Owens administrator, according to a Brewton Standard report.

Three points:

1. Mr. Owens joined the hospital as its business office director in 2004. He became CFO in 2008.

2. Prior to that, he was business office director Atmore (Ala.) Community Hospital and assistant vice president of finance for South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, Miss.

3. Mr. Owens, who holds an MBA from Mississippi State University in Starkville, has 30 years of healthcare leadership experience in Kentucky and Indiana.
