Chuck Orlando has been named interim CEO of Sylvan Grove Hospital in Jackson, Ga., and its sister facility, Griffin, Ga.-based Spalding Regional Hospital, according to a Jackson Progress-Argus report.

Here are four things to know about Mr. Orlando.

1. He will serve in his role until the hospitals' sale to Marietta, Ga.-based WellStar Health System is complete. Late last year, Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare and WellStar entered a definitive agreement for WellStar to acquire Tenet's five hospitals in the Atlanta area: Atlanta Medical Center; East Point, Ga.-based Atlanta Medical Center-South Campus; Roswell, Ga.-based North Fulton Hospital; Spalding Regional Hospital; and Sylvan Grove Hospital.

2. He takes over for former CEO John Quinn, who left his post with the intention of spending more time with his family, according to the hospitals.

3. Most recently, Mr. Orlando was COO of Tenet's Northeast Region.

4. He also previously was senior vice president of finance and CFO of Lifebridge Health in Baltimore.
