Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health Services of Long Island hired Avni Thakore, MD, to serve as CMO of CHS Physician Partners Medical Group.

1. Dr. Thakore formerly served as associate CMO and chair of cardiology for AdvantageCare Physicians in New York City.
2. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology as well as a member of the American Society of Echocardiography and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.
3. Her work has been published in numerous prestigious publications, including the American Journal of Cardiology and Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
4. The CHS Physician Partners Medical Group is Catholic Health Services' employed faculty group, which includes around 250 physicians and 100 mid-level providers.
