Children's Hospital in New Orleans selected Thomas Kimball, MD, as co-director of The Heart Center.
Here are three points:
1. Dr. Kimball will also serve as director of the division of pediatric cardiology, professor of pediatrics and the Nelson K. Ordway Professorship of Pediatric Research at LSU Health New Orleans, which is affiliated with Children's Hospital.
2. Most recently, he worked at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where he served in several roles, including as medical director of the Heart Institute and director of the Coronary Artery Clinic.
3. He was also a professor of pediatrics with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
