CHI St. Vincent restructures leadership team after 2 executives depart

Little Rock, Ark.-based CHI St. Vincent made five leadership changes.

Here are the new leadership appointments:

• Shawn Barnett, the organization's CFO, will take on the expanded role of COO and CFO.
• Doug Ross, MD, CHI St. Vincent's CMO, will take on additional responsibilities as president of CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs (Ark.).
• Marcia Atkinson, previously vice president/administrator of the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute, will serve as president of the institute.
• Chris Stines will serve as president of CHI St. Vincent North in Sherwood, Ark.
• Bryan Williams is CHI St. Vincent's new vice president for patient care services.

Additionally, two executives departed from the system:

• Polly Davenport, president and COO of Little Rock-based CHI St. Vincent Infirmary and CHI St. Vincent North stepped down Jan. 2. She left for Lisle, Ill.-based Amita Health to serve as senior vice president of regional operations.
• CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs President Anthony Houston also left for the COO role at CHI Memorial in Chattanooga, Tenn.
