Capella Healthcare Names National Physician Leadership Group Members

Franklin, Tenn.-based Capella Healthcare has named the members of its 2013 National Physician Leadership Group.

Capella's hospitals have local physician leadership groups made up of five to 10 physicians. The leader of each local physician leadership group also serves on the system's national group.

Erik Swensson, MD, FACS, Capella's CMO, is responsible for facilitating the work of the NPLG. The rest of the members include:

•    Matthew Bliven, MD, Willamette Valley Medical Center (McMinnville, Ore.)
•    Hugh Don Cripps, MD, DeKalb Community Hospital (Smithville, Tenn.)
•    Victoria Damba, DO, Mineral Area Regional Medical Center (Farmington, Mo.)
•    Alan Drake, MD, Highlands Medical Center (Sparta, Tenn.)
•    Jay Gregory, MD, EASTAR Health System (Muskogee, Okla.)
•    Kevin Hale, MD, National Park Medical Center (Hot Springs, Ark.)
•    Rick Harrison, MD, Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center (Russellville, Ark.)
•    Richard Levine, MD, Grandview Medical Center (Jasper, Tenn.)
