Bayfront Health Punta Gorda (Fla.) named Andrew Emery CEO.
Here are four things to know:
1. Mr. Emery most recently served as CEO of Shands Starke (Fla.) Regional Medical Center.
2. Mr. Emery recruited new physicians, grew the patient base and improved processes in the emergency room.
3. Prior to his time at Shands, Mr. Emery was the COO of Bayfront Health Port Charlotte (Fla.).
4. He has a master's degree in health administration from Gainesville-based University of Florida.
