Suzy Sonnier, executive director of the Baton Rouge (La.) Health District, is resigning, according to a Greater Baton Rouge Business report.
Here are four points:
1. Ms. Sonnier became the inaugural executive director of the health district in March 2016.
2. Her prior experience includes serving as secretary of the Department of Children and Family Services during the second term of Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) as well as COO of the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
3. Ms. Sonnier is relocating to Nashville, Tenn., due to her husband's new job.
4. The Baton Rouge Health District aims to foster collaboration among the major health organizations in the area.
