Albany Medical Center names new chief strategy officer: 4 things to know

Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center has named Courtney Burke, a state government official, as its chief strategy officer, according to the Albany Business Journal.

Here are four things to know about Ms. Burke.

1. Ms. Burke begins July 20 as chief strategy officer and senior vice president.

2. Ms. Burke is replacing Kim Fine, who is leaving the medical center.

3. In her role, Ms. Burke will oversee policy, strategic planning and government relations, according to the report.

4. Ms. Burke has worked in New York state's health department. In addition to state government work, Ms. Burke also has directed the New York State Health Policy Research Center at The Rockefeller Institute of Government.
