9 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The CEO moves are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Tim Attebery, CEO of Kingsport, Tenn.-based Holston Valley Medical Center, is resigning for a new job opportunity.

2. Marlinton, W.Va.-based Pocahontas Memorial Hospital has chosen Mary Beth Barras its new CEO.

3. HSHS St. Clare Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls, Wis., selected Christopher P. Brabant to serve as president and CEO, effective Aug. 20.

4. Johnstown, Pa.-based Conemaugh Health System appointed William E. Caldwell market president as well as CEO of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown.

5. Susan Childers, CEO of King City, Calif.-based Mee Memorial Hospital, will retire March 1, 2019.

6. Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, Calif., named Lani Dickinson, BSN, its permanent CEO, effective immediately.

7. North Conway, N.H.-based Memorial Hospital President and CEO Scott McKinnon is retiring Oct. 31.

8. Rapid City, S.D.-based Regional Health CEO Brent Phillips stepped down from his role, effective immediately, due to a personnel issue, according to a Regional Health spokesperson.

9. Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours Health System and Cincinnati-based Mercy Health named John M. Starcher, Jr. president and CEO of Bon Secours Mercy Health when the two organizations merge in the fall.
