Here are eight hospital and health system executive resignations, including those mutually agreed upon, that occurred or were announced since Nov. 7:
1. Anne Marie Lynch is no longer CEO of Anchorage, Alaska-based North Star Behavioral Health System. Employees were notified Nov. 29 via email that Ms. Lynch was stepping down "effective immediately" and moving to an Indiana hospital, according to the Anchorage Daily News, which obtained a screenshot of the email. North Star Behavioral Health System has four campuses, including North Star Hospital in Anchorage and Palmer (Alaska) Residential Treatment Center.
2. Priscilla Needham will step down as CFO of Billings (Mont.) Clinic, effective Dec. 14. She has accepted a new position as CFO of Tallahassee (Fla.) Memorial HealthCare to be closer to family.
3. Caroline Wasielewski is no longer CEO of the healthcare district that owns Adventist Health Tehachapi (Calif.) Valley hospital. Ms. Wasielewski began leading the Tehachapi Valley Healthcare District in 2020. Her last day as CEO was Nov. 25.
4. Kidada Hawkins, who took over as president of Winter Haven (Fla.) Hospital earlier this year, resigned. Clearwater, Fla.-based BayCare Health System named Mr. Hawkins president of its Winter Haven and Winter Haven Women's hospitals in early 2022. BayCare announced Nov. 23 that Susan Croushore will reprise her role as interim president of the hospitals, effective Nov. 28.
5. Claudio Fort resigned as president and CEO of Rutland (Vt.) Regional Medical Center. Mr. Fort will leave the hospital at the end of December, according to a news release shared with Becker's. Judi Fox, CFO and vice president of finance at Rutland Regional, was selected as interim president and CEO.
6. John Mentgen resigned as president and CEO of Scottsbluff, Neb.-based Regional West Health Services. The health system's COO, Amanda Vick, RN, was named acting president and CEO.
7. Ken Johnson resigned as president and CEO of Hutchinson (Kan.) Regional Healthcare System. Mr. Johnson had served at the helm since 2015. Nick Baldetti, PhD, chief quality officer, was selected as interim CEO.
8. Bruce Meyer, MD, president of Jefferson Health in Philadelphia and senior executive vice president of Thomas Jefferson University, departed to serve Pittsburgh-based Highmark Health. His new role overseeing payer-provider strategy is effective Dec. 5.
