7 recent hospital, health system executive retirements

Becker's Hospital Review reported on the following hospital and health system executive retirements in the last four weeks.

They are listed below, in alphabetical order.

1. Tim Allen, vice president of human resources at Bridgeport, W.Va.-based United Hospital Center, retired after 43 years at the hospital.

2. Timothy A. Churchill, president and CEO of Farmington, Maine-based Franklin Community Health Network and Western Maine Health in Norway, is retiring Jan. 1, 2020.

3. Fremont, Calif.-based Washington Hospital Healthcare System CEO Nancy D. Farber will retire in six months after 25 years in the post.

4. Pipestone (Minn.) County Medical Center CFO Dave Keeler is retiring, effective May 3.

5. Stephen L. Mansfield, PhD, president and CEO of Dallas-based Methodist Health System, will retire, effective April 23.

6. Rick Napper, president and CEO of Odessa, Texas-based Medical Center Health System, is planning to retire, effective Sept. 15.

7. Karen Profitt Newman, EdD, RN, vice president and chief nursing officer of Baptist Health Louisville (Ky.), is retiring, effective June 30 after 20 years of service at the hospital.
