7 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Bruce Begley, CEO of Methodist Hospital in Henderson, Ky., will retire in April.

2. Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis (Tenn.) President and CEO David Archer will retire in May.

3. Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, Calif., appointed CFO Steve Dietlin as the permanent CEO.

4. David Zambrana, DNP, RN, CEO of University of Miami Hospital, will become CEO of Miami-based Jackson Memorial Hospital, effective April 15.

5. Amy Thompson, MD, was promoted from CMO of Covenant Women's and Children's in Lubbock, Texas, to CEO.

6. Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Broward Health named Pauline Grant interim president and CEO.

7. Bill Kottmann was promoted to president and CEO of Naperville, Ill.-based Edward Hospital, effective July 1.
