7 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Jackson-based West Tennessee Healthcare named James Ross, RN, permanent president and CEO.

2. West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health named John Gantner president and CEO of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J.

3. Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital President and CEO Jerry Fedele is planning to retire.

4. Macon County General Hospital in Lafayette, Tenn., appointed Thomas Kidd CEO.

5. Binghamton, N.Y.-based UHS System selected John M. Carrigg to serve as president and CEO of the system as well as UHS Hospitals, effective June 1.

6. Castro Valley, Calif.-based Eden Health District named Michael Mahoney CEO, effective on June 15.

7. Jackson-based Mississippi Baptist Health Systems selected Bobbie K. Ware, BSN, RN, to serve as CEO of Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
